1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old & New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
2. We believe in one God, creator and preserver of all things, eternally existing in 3 persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.
We believe in His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, HIs continuing priestly ministry and His future return to earth.
4. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, who possesses an influence in convicting of sin before and after salvation, who also indwells every believer after salvation with whom the believer needs to be baptized because the Holy Spirit is the source and power of all acceptable worship and service, and who is our abiding Comforter & Helper, that He never departs from the weakest believer, but is ever present to testify of Christ.
5. We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell from this position through disobedience and as a result of this his moral nature was corrupted, and spiritual and physical death ensued. This nature was transmitted through Adam,
resulting in the total depravity of all mankind. Man's restoration to fellowship with God is made possibly only by new birth.
6. We believe that salvation through Jesus Christ is freedom from guilt, penalty and power of sin. Christ, having died for our
sins, bore the wrath of God, completely satisfying God's righteous requirement so that all men may be full reconciled to Him by grace. Salvation results when an individual receives Jesus Christ in Faith. The believer immediately stands perfect in Christ and may be assured of his standing by the inner witness of the Holy Spirit and the testimony of Scriptures.
7. We believe that the soul of the believer who dies before the personal return of Christ enters immediately into Christ's presence, there awaiting his resurrection body. Those, however, who willfully reject Christ depart into a place of conscious torment, there awaiting final judgement.
8. We believe that the Christian, who is immediately justified and sanctified at the moment of his conversion is called to a life which reflects his spiritual position in Christ. He will do all things to the glory of God, being careful to conform his life and conduct to the principles set forth in the New Testament. We believe this involves a separation from habits and conducts which may cause others to be adversely influenced and to stumble, together with a separation unto God which will reflect his new life in Christ.
9. We believe in baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. These are matters of obedience to the Lord and are not essential to salvation. Baptism: Baptism should be reserved for responsible individuals who have experienced saving fath. Baptism symbolizes the believer's union with Christ in His death, burial and triumphant resurrection. It is a pledge on the part of the believer that he intends to live a new life in Christ. The Lord's Supper: The Lord's Supper is is a memorial of the Lord's death and of His promised return. It is to be partaken of in a spirit of joy and reverence upon self-examination.
