Jubilee Celebration

Jubilee is a direct result of the verse Matthew 10:8 "Freely you have received, freely give."

It is a simple Biblical Kingdom Principle to reallocate what we have been blessed with here on earth. The vision for Jubilee celebration started as a way to build a bridge to our community by demonstrating our faith through blessing our neighbors with our time, energy and resources to meet the practical needs of others. Our first event ran in the fall of 2003. Working through the 48 Dakota County Community Action Council offices, we send invitations to needy families within our Dakota County boundaries.

Leviticus 23:22 When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field, nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the Lord your God.

Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they will pour into your lap. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
